Notes: A small Notebook of 44 pages, with hard black cover and label on the front No. [Blank] | Chr. Haller Uhrmacher [barely legible] | Alter: [Blank], Eintritt: 15 April 1906 [year is a guess]. Prepinted ledger lines. Haller presumably was from Schwenningen, Germany (document found in pile of Schwenningen horological memorabilia). Also signed on front page. All entries in pencil in old German script, partially faint, all pages used. Text entries seem to describe production (and/or assembly) steps for various models of watchman controll clocks (Deutsche Kontrolluhren, Amerikaner Kontrolluhren, Trommelwerk kleine gruen lakiert, ) and carrier pigeon racing clocks (Brieftauben, Englische Brieftauben). Also list of tools (presumably issued to Haller)and target dimensions od various parts. Bulk iseems to be dated entries relatined to making (or assemblying) clocks or escapements with serial numbers associated to specific dates 9mostly in 1907 and 1908), sometmes including numbers of hours, or money amounts. Presumably this was an individuals records of his work, possibly related to his piecework pay. {Note: Watchmans controll clocks and racing pigeon clocks were a local specialty i Schwenningen, at the Buerk factory and other local manufactuers, the notebook does not seem to say who the employer was}
