Includes various letters to the student, partially in their original, mailed and stamped envelopes. including 1. a letter Oct 1919 confirmming receipt of course fee deposit of 22.85 2. A coupon to get a free engraving course if enroling in the Horology course including cover letter Sept 19 1919, , 3--. .A sample facsimile diploma, 4--. A miniature facsimile course module booklet (shrunk to 25% linear). 5--.' Marketing letter Sept 19 1919, 6--. An Oct 6 letter reminding the pupil to sign up, 7--. Oct 20 1919 letter saying to tool list with prices is availabl e 8.--List of tools shipped October 30 1919, 9. A letter dated Oct 29, explaining why some tools were missing 10. An empty envelope marked "2 Swiss and 1 American Winding stem - Samples to be returned", 11.-- An undated toollist of 86 items, with hand corrected prices, 12.- Aug 1919 letter confirming that requested prospectus was sent out, 13. A mailed envelope Dec 22, 1919 containg receipt seven separate receipts for postal money orders dated Oct 20, 1919 for 22$85,of Nov 24 1919 for 5$, of Dec.24, 1919 for 5$, of Jan 29,1920 for 5$, of Feb 24, 1920 for 5$ , of March 23 for $5, and of March 27 1927 for 7$ plus a stub for a "Savings coupon", plus a letter dated Sept 5, 1919 soliciting students to sign up for the course , plus five 'installment notices, countersigned for course fees due received Nov 15 1919, Dec 20 1919,, Jan 29 1920, Feb29 and March 29, 1920. 15. Feedback letter from couse inspector (2 pages ) dated May 10, 1920, 16. Letter Nov 29, 1919 concerning too shortages and delays, 17 Positive feedback letter dated Nov.14 concerning screws made by the pupil 18. Typed notes by pubil on tempering steel undated 19. Letter dated Feb 27 1925 informing pupil he still had credit for the fully paid (in1920) course not completed (and attempting to sell student a lathe on installment plan).In original stamped and mailed envelope. 20. Letter dated (in stamped envelope) Mar. 11 1927 offering to send student the new edition of the updated course material for the reduced fee of 7 dollars. --- 21. March 28, 1927 letter confirming the reiceipt of 7 $ for updated course booklet (and trying to sell a lathe again). 22. Letter Jan 21 1929 giving positive feeback for work samples (pins and screws) sent in by student (in stamped envelope) - NOTE: It is unknown if Mr. Streiffert ever progressed beyond pins and screws.
