Notes: Original illustrated Manuscript describing de Dondi's astronomical clock/planetarium. The manuscripts is presumed to be the original [untill 1844 at Dondi family] is in the Marciana Library in Venice [Cat. a.440,, I.278 (L.VIII-XVII); four 15th and 16th century copies exist one is in Ambrosiana , one at the Torinoi library, one at the Bodleian and one at Eaton, some sources date original to 1397, the clock was made 1348 to 1364. Essentially the same content as in Dondi's Tractatus Astrarium (BHM No. 7014). An english translation of the text was published 1974 by Baillie, Lloyd and Ward.
